How the fire started

First off I want to apologize for the lack of blog posts recently. I’ve been incredibly busy the last couple of weekends.
So someone (or something) has lit a fire under my ass to get this house clean again, which in turn has lit a fire under my boyfriend’s ass to help me, lol! My house isn’t like, revoltingly dirty or anything, but it did need some deep cleaning. I usually just clean up the kitchen, do dishes, sweep, mop and vacuum. Last weekend I did those things, but above and beyond what I normally do. I even dusted the blinds and washed the windows, lol! All I can say is that my living room and kitchen has never looked so nice.
I had plans on cleaning and organizing the laundry room this weekend, but I think I may put it off since i’ve been on the go since I got up friday morning.
The itch is back

The piercing itch that is.
After getting my tongue pierced, I started to think of all the piercings that I could have now that I don’t live with my parents. Before moving out on my own, I had to keep my piercings to a minimum. I had to get piercings that I could easily hide because my parents are pretty conservative. I did it that way because I was, after all, living in their house rent free.
I had been wanting my industrial pierced for the longest time so I finally took the opportunity to do it on wednesday. Honestly, it was one of my more painful piercings, but totally worth it. I love it so much already!
I have a few other ear piercings planned, but I want to wait until my industrial is healed a little more.
I finally did it

I finally got the guts to get my tongue pierced. For some unknown reason, getting my tongue pierced has always kind of freaked me out. I can handle other piercings like a champ, but I never managed to get the nerve to get my tongue done.
A few of my friends recently got theirs done, and after insisting it really wasn’t bad at all, i worked up the nerve to get mine done on thursday morning before work. The actual procedure was cake, but having a swollen tongue makes it difficult to eat normal foods.
I’ve been living off of tuna salad, soup, pudding and now smoothies. I went to walmart this afternoon and picked up a bunch of different berries, bananas, peanut butter and instant cappuccino mix for as many smoothies as I could handle. Atleast I’ll lose some weight? lol!
I’ll post pictures once my tongue isn’t so swollen anymore!

Goals

So last week a few friends and I were talking about going into the city to go shopping after we get our tax returns. I decided to try and save all of my spending money for the next month so that I would have a good chunk of money to take with me. Unfortunately I work for peanuts, so I have to save if I want a good chunk of money to take with me. lol!
Saving has been pretty easy so far, other then having to make a quick trip to walmart to buy a new shower head because ours had busted. I wanted one that was slightly better quality because our old one was cheap, plastic and just pretty sucky quality.
The main reason I want to save my money is to update my closest. I need new clothes, bad. I’ll buy a random shirt or jeans once in a while, but that doesn’t cut it. In the next few weeks i’m going to go through my closest and donate/throw away everything I don’t wear anymore. I have a lot of jeans that i’ve been meaning to fix, but i’ll never get around to it. Plus, Who doesn’t love buying new clothes anyways
